Ungrounded people unground people.

Not maliciously, but often unconsciously.

They float just outside themselves,

reaching—into your presence, your steadiness, your clarity.

And suddenly,

you feel yourself drifting, too.

In these moments,

your body may whisper:

Something’s off.

I’m working too hard to stay connected.

That whisper is your compass.

Grounding isn’t just personal—

it’s relational.

Staying centered in the presence of someone who isn’t

takes immense self-trust.

It means not matching their spin.

It means reclaiming your pace,

your breath,

your boundary.

It means knowing the difference

between resonance and entanglement.

Some relationships anchor.

Some unravel.

Learning the difference is part of becoming

a home to yourself.
